Sean is a Principal at General Capital Partners in Denver, Colorado. Sean has an extensive knowledge of corporate finance in addition to private equity sourcing which he leverages to assist and advise General Capital Partners’ clients in the energy, real estate and financial sectors. His engagements also include operations restructuring and reorganization. Sean spoke on the ABI’s panel on Real Estate Developers and Bankruptcy in January 2010 and has been featured in The Deal and the ABF Journal, among others.
Prior to joining GCP, Sean was an asset manager for a private equity firm with a diversified portfolio of real estate, operating company and energy investments. Sean oversaw the construction and administration of projects totaling over $300 million, including securing over $250 million in financing and additional equity for these projects. He also conducted statistical and financial analysis to evaluate a broad range of investment opportunities and future business development strategies. Sean began his career at Lockheed Martin Corporation where he negotiated and managed in excess of $500 million in government subcontracts. Sean graduated from The Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters of Science in Engineering and Technology Management.
